MANDELIEU / THEOULE-SUR-MER
Mandelieu-la-Napoule is situated between Cannes and Théoule-sur-Mer and it had a population of 21 772 in 2020. The landmark is the Château de la Napoule, and it also hosts an airport for private air transportation.
Theoule-sur-mer is situated at the west part of Cannes bay just before the Esterel massif. It’s a small resort village with only about 1500 inhabit

It’s nicely situated by the sea with a view over the Cannes bay and the beginning of the Estrelles massif. There is a terrace along three sides but also a nice interior with a good atmosphere.

Mimosa walk in Tanneron
Route de Tanneron, Mandelieu-La Napoule
In February, the mimosa blooms in the Tanneron massif. It’s very nice to make an easy hike on the Grand Duc path. It takes about 45 min. from Nice by car, taking the A8 to Mandelieu center and then D92 towards Tanneron.
You are surrounded by mimosa trees and the lovely scent from the flowers. At some spots you have a marvelous view over the Cannes Bay.
St. Donat

Situated between Cannes and Grasse and about 40 min. drive from the centre of Nice. Nice diversified landscape. Holes 11 to 15 are going up and down and are rather challenging. It is well maintained even during tough weather conditions. It’s a busy course so count on close to 4h30 to make the 18 holes. The restaurant has a sunny and nice terrasse with a view over hole 9 and 10 and the lake.
