The decoration is kitschy but fits very well.
You feel immediately welcome by the very nice staff (who have been there forever).
It’s situated at the Croisette and open every day all day.

Astoux et Brun
27 Rue Félix Faure, Cannes
A very nice fish and seafood restaurant, serving well prepared and delicious food.
It’s always very busy and popular and it’s not possible to reserve a table, so either you have to be there early or be prepared to queue. The house offers some small shells with aioli as a starter.

They propose guided tours showing you around on the island and explaining the life of the Monks and the cultivation of wine and olive oil.
There is a good restaurant on the island open from April to October and a shop selling the local wine, olive oil and other souvenirs.

A great day at sea
We met in the harbor close to the Festival Palace at 11 am. Lionel from No-Mad picked us up in his sailing boat.
At the west side of Ile Saint-Honorat we could anchor in shelter. On the way we got a nice view of Cannes.
We spent the day sunbathing on the boat, relaxing in a hammock or taking a swim. We had brought a lunch picnic including some rosé wine. Lionel was very patient with the 10 ladies and he told us stories from his life in the french marine, traveling all over the world.
About 5 pm we started to go back to Cannes.
The whole day cost 300 euros, so 30 euros per person. It was really a wonderful day.
