CAGNES
Cagnes-sur-Mer is situated 10 km west of Nice and has about 50.000 inhabitants.
It has a 4 km beach and a beachwalk called “Promenade de la Plage”.
Haut de Cagnes
This hill is the old city of Cagnes.
It’s dominated by the Medieval castle and it’s classified as a “Historical site”. Only 650 inhabitants live there.
It’s very calm and one of the most beautiful villages on the Riviera.
Le Cros de Cagnes
This part of Cagnes is also called “the fishermen’s village”.
More than 200 years ago, some fishermen from Genoa in Italy came for fishing.
Some of them fell in love with the site and decided to settle there with their families.
