A nice place for an “after beach” and to meet up with some friends at the end of the day for a drink.
Plages des Iles

This private beach is cool. We took sunbeds on the pontoon for 22 euros (18 euro on the beach) and had a calm time without children and music.
Le César
1035 Chem. de la Garoupe, Antibes
This restaurant is situated in La Garoupe at Cap d’Antibes and part of Plage Keller. We had lunch here after a walk around the Cape, but working people also come from Antibes and have business lunch. International cuisine, we had poke bowls that were really fresch, with a glass of rose wine. The place is chic and rather expensive.
I like – the great feeling to have lunch in the sand
Café des Chineurs
28, rue Aubernon, Antibes
This is a nice adresse in Antibes. We chose Beef tartar. It was nicely presented with both fresh salad and french fries. We shared 50 cl rose wine and finished with a fruit salad and coffee for 28 euros per person. The staff was nice and the service was correct.
I like – the big sunny terrasse
Ruban bleu
Promenade solei, Juan-Les-Pins
Lunch in a chic mode with local clientele. A contemporary kitchen, but I was not impressed by the food. The location at the beachside in the sun was a nice place to have lunch at in January. With a friendly atmosphere and nice staff. The house offered a homemade digestive from an enormous bottle.
I like – window walls protecting from the wind
Le P'tit Cageot
5 Rue du Dr Rostan, Antibes
A nice little restaurant on a small and calm street in the old village. Everything on the menu is just delicious. Arnaud et Roxane are very kind and friendly. Some of the vegetables, fruits and herbs are from their own garden.
It’s nice sitting outside but the interior is also like sitting outside.
Lunch of a main dish, a shared dessert, coffee and a bottle of rose wine for four cost 45 euros/person.
I like – choose the surprise on the menu and see what you get

The Nomade sculpture
Port Vauban, Antibes
At the end of the pier, at the bastion St. Jaume, you’ll find the modern Nomade sculpture by Catalan artist Jaume Plensa. It looks like a person sitting with his/her knees drawn up, looking out to the sea. It is made by white metal, and comprises thousands of connecting letters. It is big enough to get inside.
St. Donat
270 Route de Cannes, Grasse
Situated between Cannes and Grasse and about 40 min. drive from the centre of Nice. Nice diversified landscape. Holes 11 to 15 are going up and down and are rather challenging. It is well maintained even during tough weather conditions. It’s a busy course so count on close to 4h30 to make the 18 holes. The restaurant has a sunny and nice terrasse with a view over hole 9 and 10 and the lake.
Greenfee 72 euros if booking online (85 euros full price).
