A fantastic well-being Excursion
At the end of October, we were a group of 7 ladies from Nice who went to St. Raphael for a relaxing long weekend for a yoga and hiking retreat organized by @lenascharpyoga at @HotelduSoleil in St. Raphael.

Relaxing yoga in the garden
We had yoga sessions in the morning before breakfast and in the afternoon when we came back from hiking.
It was a mix of harmony yoga, hatha yoga, medi yoga and a few yoga nidra sessions.
Despite the fresh nights, we could do it outside in the garden, in the morning well covered, but in the afternoon the sun was warming us.

Beautiful hiking
During the day we walked different coastal paths at the foot of the Esterel massif.
The first day was sunny but windy. We took the car for a 15 min ride to Camp Long and walked the Coastal Path at Cap Dramont east of St. Raphael to the Landing Beach, which took about 1h1/2.
It’s a rocky path and sometimes high over the sea with breathtaking views.
The Landing Beach is a memorial site of the landing of the 36th Texas Division of the US Army on August 15 1945.
We stopped for a picnic lunch at the picturesque port of Poussaï, where we were protected from the wind.
Then we took a fast track back to the car which took only 30 min.
The next day we did a coastal walk from Plage des Fournas to Santa Lucia Port.
It was really beautiful but sometimes rather challenging. The path was close to the water and now and then high waves were crashing on the rocks.
We stopped for a picnic at Santa Lucia creek.

Fantastic food
At hotel de Soleil we were very well taken care of by Susanne and Linnea who manage the hotel.
We started the day with a great breakfast, and got a nice picnic to bring to the hiking. In the evening, we had delicious 3 course dinners.
The weather was nice, so we could have dinner in the garden but well covered with blankets.
It was a fantastic well-being experience and we had a lot of fun.
