Cap de Nice
A beatiful day in March, we went along the Promenade from Negresco to the other side of the harbor, taking Boulevard Franck Pilatte, passing by the famous restaurant La Reserve de Nice, continuing along the creeks where you always see people sunbathing and swimming.
A little bit further, we take the coastal path passing Coco Beach and continue along Cap the Nice. From here the view over Angles Bay and the Harbor is breathtaking.
At the end you need to climb 254 stairs, but don’t forget to stop on the way and admire the view and the beautiful villas.
Amazing view
When you arrive at a big road, take to the right and follow that road until you see the signs “Sentier Littoral” and go down the stairs and then take to the left and follow the coastal path. The path is arranged but sometimes rather difficult.
We made a stop regularly to admire the amazing view over Cap Ferrat and the Villefranche Bay.
Villefranche village
Arriving at Villefranche we went along the first little harbor and continued along the sea to the village and further down to the Promenade des Marinieres. It took us 2 1/2 hours.
We stopped for a well deserved lunch at Restaurant Trastevere.
After the rest we went up the narrow street rue de l’Eglise all the way to rue de la Victoire, follow that street to the right up to avenue Georges Clemenceau. There is a bus stop where you can take the no 100 back to Port Lympia. It takes about 20 min. Don’t forget to admire the view from the bus as well.
