Sailing to Ile de Lérins
On a sunny day in June, I spent a relaxing day on a boat together with some friends.
We took the car to Cannes where we met in the harbour close to the Festival Palace at 11 am.
Lionel from No-Mad picked us up in his sailing boat Jeanneau Sun Charm 39 – 1990 for 10-12 persons.
A lazy and fun day
We spent the day sunbathing on the boat, relaxing in a hammock or taking a swim. Some of us also did SUP. We had brought a lunch picnic including some rosé wine. There was a fridge on the boat so no problem to keep it fresh. We had many interesting discussions and good laughs. Lionel was very patient with the 10 ladies and he told us stories from his life in the french marine, travelling all over the world.
About 5 pm we started to go back to Cannes.
The whole day cost 300 euros, so 30 euros per person. It was really a wonderful day.
